When you’ve been designing wedding invitations for a while, you are bound to find your work “in the wild” from time to time. It is such a pleasant surprise when I stumble upon one of my designs featured on a popular wedding blog or a photographer’s website. My “Down by the Sea” invitation has been in Minted’s inventory since 2012 and has popped up in various places over the years. These navy blue nautical wedding invitations are a favorite for couples tying the knot at the beach or a waterside venue. Today I’m celebrating this invitation’s long run at Minted and sharing three of my favorite internet finds from the past seven years.
The Invitation
It’s especially fun when a local couple chooses one of my designs. This wedding, photographed by Jaye Kogut, took place at the Brant Beach Yacht Club on Long Beach Island last year. How gorgeous is this set up? Cue the heart eyes.
day of paper goods
We all know Style Me Pretty is the ultimate go-to wedding blog. Having your work featured there is like hitting the stationery design jackpot. It is the best of the best. This Cape Cod wedding was photographed by AE Stelzer Photography and features my place card, menu and table number designs. I love how the place cards pulled double duty as favor tags. And check out the little rope details. It just doesn’t get more nautical. See the full post here.
save the dates
The third feature is from Kelly Larkin at Kelly in the City. Kelly used my design when she created a “redo” of her wedding invitations and save the dates. I’m so flattered she selected this one among all the options at Minted. And what a fun project, yes?! See the full post and more photos here.
If you chose this design for your nautical wedding, I would love to see! Please let me know in the comments if you’d like to share your photos or send me an email at hello@sandrapicco.com. You can view the full suite in my store on Minted.
